Baseball

Carson loves any toy or game that involves a ball. He likes to throw them, Kick them, suck on them etc. He recently got this cute little baseball tee and it didn't take long for him to learn how to hit it of the tee and "run the bases" it is so cute to watch here is a video.

Amazing

          I am so surprised by Carson every day.  He is learning things so fast!  some things I have no idea how he figured them out.  It's so amazing how babies just pick up on things.  Anyone who has or had a baby will know what I am talking about.  I notice new things Carson does all the time!  Like when he first started actually understanding what I was telling him.  When I say "Carson close the door" then he will, or if I ask "Carson do you want to go to the store?"  He will go get his coat and run to the door and smack it until I open it.  He also just learned how to blow his nose.  He doesn't really blow it but he likes to grab a tissue and hold it to his nose while he blows out of his mouth! it is so cute.
           well yesterday while we were waiting for Jake to get home from school, Carson was helping me get lunch.   He sat on the counter while I put the food in the oven and helped me get out the plates.  He was really hungry so I got him a sippy of milk while we waited.  well when I handed it to him he took it and walked out of the room, so I followed him wondering what is was doing, since he was obviously on a mission of some kind.  He brought his sippy to his high chair and put it in the cup holder and came back to the kitchen to get more.  I couldn't believe it!  he was setting his place. like someone would set the table.  it was so cute!   I just think it is so neat how fast he is learning all the sudden.  I don't even have to do anything most of the time, he just picks it up on his own by watching what other people do.  We love him more every day!

Build a Bear

Ever since I first found out I was pregnant with Carson I wanted to get him a build a bear as his first gift from Jake and I.  I had the exact one picked out! it was called Scruffy Dog. well the pregnancy came and went and Carson's first year flew by. For one reason or another we never got him his build a bear. Well after Christmas we FINALLY decided to take him and get it! I was so excited!!

Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas this year!  there is so much to be thankful for!  We spent Christmas Eve with Jake's Family.  It was really fun!

Later Christmas day we went to Jake's parents house for Santa, then my parents house
for a breakfast get together and even MORE presents. 
We were then able to go to Jake's Dad's house and spend time with them.   WHEW!!
What a day!  We had so much fun!
