Sleepy

Carson has been working hard this past week with one of his molars coming in.  He has been pretty grumpy and hardly sleeping.  but on Sunday it finally cut through! Today at lunch he was so exhausted he fell asleep in the middle of eating.  

When I first noticed he was falling asleep he was still chewing on a cheeto. It was really funny, his eyes just rolled back and he slowly laid his head in his bowl of soup!

I cleaned him off and put him in bed. 

Girls Trip

Every year we try to get together with all the sisters and my mom.  We usually stay close by like in Park City, and stay for a night, but this year we rented a condo in St George for 4 days.  I have only left Carson overnight once and that was a year ago, so I was pretty nervous about leaving him for 4 days! Needless to say Carson was fine and I had a blast!

We did a lot of shopping the first day.  Here's all of our purchases in a big pile. We're showing it off.

We chose this weekend to go because of the home show.  So here we are in front of the biggest most glamorous house I ever seen! the master bedroom alone was the size of my house with their master shower being the size of Carson's bedroom.

We all bought matching watches! 

I had so much fun!  nobody can make me laugh like these girls!  It was so nice to get out and be a girl again!  But I was so happy to see my boys when I got home.  until next year ladies!

Valentines Day!

Since this year Valentines is on Sunday we went out on Friday night.  Nothing too fancy just dinner and a movie. It was so nice to get out just the two of us! It was fun to dress up for each other again!

 we went to see the new Percy Jackson and the Olympians movie.  I think it is based on a book.  I have never heard of it but the trailer made it look good.  It was ok.  Definitely more of a kids movie. but interesting!  we ended up having to sit in the very front row so that sucked. but we got the best parking spot ever!  The same thing happened at the restaurant, Jake's food was not good at all, but we had the best parking spot! The parking made up for everything else. well that and the fact I was with the most amazing, perfect person ever!  :) This was our 6th Valentines together! still going strong!

Bike Ride

I just started training for a triathlon I am doing in May.  I have to ride my bike a few times a week to get in shape and all I have is a bike stroller I can attach to my bike.  I can do it but it kind of adds a lot of weight! and its a little wider then my bike so sometimes if I'm not careful, the strollers wheel will go off the curb and pull my bike with it.   So I have been looking around at different bike seats for Carson to ride in.  I ended up buying this one by "Bell" 

I love it! it attaches right behind my seat and has little leg slots so he can't get his feet caught in the spokes of my back tire. It's called the "Cocoon" so it kind of cocoon's around him.  If I were to tip over for some reason then the sides would help protect him.  Carson loves it!  the first time we put him in he just starting making car noises (bbrrrooom!) like he was driving it. 

I got him a little helmet but for some reason the smallest they make is for 3+.  so it is a little big.  but works good.  We tested it out on Friday and went on an hour bike ride!  it is so easy to use.  It is a little different to balance, but much easier then the bike stroller. 

He was so comfortable by the time I got home he was asleep! he didn't look very comfortable but it was really cute! 

Faker

Carson has just figured out how to smile on command.  so now when I have my camera and I say "Smile" he will do it.  but it is the cutest FAKEST (is that even a word) smile I have ever seen.  I love it. Here's a few of them for your enjoyment

By the way that brown thing he is wearing is the skirt to my bathing suit.  He decided we wanted to wear it like a necklace :)  so cute!
