We had such a great Christmas this year. I have to admit I am finally starting to feel more like I have my own family now, having two kids. Christmas morning Jake and I got up around 8:30 and waited in anticipation for Carson to wake up. He didn't wake up until about 9. We told him that Santa had come! (he didn't really understand, the only time he saw Santa this year he cried hysterically. it was pretty traumatic for all of us :) )
But he still came with us to the family room to see what Santa had brought him! Carson was the perfect example of how kids should act on Christmas morning. Every parents dream. He was very excited to open every present and with each present he was extremely excited with what he got and wanted to play with it right away. It took him about a half an hour to open them all.
we are so lucky to have these two little boys. I love them so much it's insane. I never really understood a parents love until I had kids of my own. now I know what it means to love someone so much it hurts.
we had an amazing Christmas this year! I hope you all had a great time too!

I love that picture of Dallas in the Santa hat - so cute!
I get what you mean about feeling more like your own family, although our #2 isn't out yet. Christmas was more fun because Alena knew what presents were and it was fun to watch her get so excited. Yay for kids!
9:00!!! What is your secret? I can't get Bryson to sleep past 6:30! But you kids are adorable!
Thanks guys! I do have cute kids :) and Mallory I don't know what to tell you, Carson has always been a very good sleeper, we just got lucky that way I guess. :)
