About Me

We met in high school and have been together ever since. We got married when we were 20 and sealed in the Bountiful Temple. Then we had our handsome boy Carson, who is now 4, cute 2 year old Dallas and we just added to our family with little baby Brighton! We are just enjoying life and having a blast!

Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas this year.  I have to admit I am finally starting to feel more like I have my own family now, having two kids.  Christmas morning Jake and I got up around 8:30 and waited in anticipation for Carson to wake up.  He didn't wake up until about 9.  We told him that Santa had come! (he didn't really understand, the only time he saw Santa this year he cried hysterically.  it was pretty traumatic for all of us :) )

But he still came with us to the family room to see what Santa had brought him!  Carson was the perfect example of how kids should act on Christmas morning.  Every parents dream.  He was very excited to open every present and with each present he was extremely excited with what he got and wanted to play with it right away.  It took him about a half an hour to open them all.

Meanwhile, Dallas was still asleep so we all opened our presents and then began to open Dallas' for him.  then he woke up and I piled his presents on him to get a picture.  He was VERY happy as well!

we are so lucky to have these two little boys.  I love them so much it's insane.  I never really understood a parents love until I had kids of my own.  now I know what it means to love someone so much it hurts.

we had an amazing Christmas this year! I hope you all had a great time too!

Thanksgiving

I was very excited for Thanksgiving this year.  Last year we had a lot of fun but we were out of town so we didn't have a good old fashioned home made turkey dinner, so I couldn't wait for this year.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  I love getting up super early and helping my mom in the kitchen for the ENTIRE day.  I love snacking all day long and visiting with family.  well this year my parents ditched out on us and went to Italy.  (I can't be too mad, I would bail too if I got to go to Italy)  I was pretty upset that my mom wasn't going to be here to make the best Thanksgiving dinner that she is known for.  Good thing my older sister Cindy volunteered to host!  she has had years of practice with my mom so she pretty much got it right :)  here's a few pictures of the crowd.
